Trade Discount Policy

Trade Discount Policy is available to retail bookshops. Orders from dealers who have provided acceptable credit information (new accounts please write for form) are shipped on an open-account basis. All bills are net, payable from invoice within 30 days.

Net Items

Please note that catalog items marked “net” or "SD" (short discount) are not accorded a dealer discount; these are usually not publications of Cistercian Publications and may be obtained from the original publisher. Items not marked “net” but within a set that is “net” may be purchased individually at the regular discount.

Cistercian Publications does not allow trade discounts to diocesan offices, parishes, schools, retreat houses, and pamphlet racks. We do offer “bulk order” discounts on nonreturnable purchases beginning at $250/10%. Maximum bulk order discount is 20%.

Cash Discounts

No discounts are allowed for cash orders.

Standing Order Discount

Standing Order Subscriptions offer an attractive pricing option for individuals, institutions, and bookshops. Subscribers receive each book in the respective series (Cistercian Fathers, Cistercian Studies, Cistercian Liturgy, or Monastic Wisdom) as it is published and are invoiced at a 25% discount from the cover price. Backlist titles from the selected series may be ordered at the discounted rate at any time. Books distributed for other publishers are not available by standing order.
