General eBook Questions
What file format are your ebooks?
Cistercian Publications decided to offer our ebooks as PDF files. PDF is short for Portable Document Format and was created by Adobe Systems, Inc. to be a self-contained, cross-platform document. Simply put, a PDF file will look the same on the screen and in print, regardless of what kind of computer, software package, fonts, or printer someone is using. PDF files contain the same formatting and layout as the printed book, including fonts and images. Even so, PDF files are highly compressed, making them easy to download and store.

How do I view or print my downloaded files?
To view or print your downloaded files, you must have Adobe Acrobat loaded on your computer. In Windows Explorer, Apple's Finder, or other file management program, locate the folder where you downloaded your file(s) and double-click on the file name. Once the file(s) has been clicked on, Acrobat will open and display your PDF file. To print the file, use the printing function in Acrobat.
